JOB SUMMARY

We are always on the lookout for extremely organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented Professional Organizers (PO) and Move Managers (MM) with excellent communication skills to join our team.

Our POs work on projects ranging from general organizing and decluttering to unpacks and creating custom organizing solutions that work best for our clients and suit their lives. A PO needs a keen eye for space, the ability to plan an attack of decluttering or unpacking a space, as well as excellent people skills to discuss their priorities and needs. Our POs usually work on a team, though at times can work individually with clients in their homes. POs can also work with the client to source suggestions to create the best system and process for them.

Our MM oversees every aspect of planning and executing a client’s residential move, from conducting an initial assessment, sorting and prepping, to getting mover quotes. to the final unpack, to post-move follow-up. They are the main point of contact for the client, as well as coordinating with the movers and other vendors as needed for the project. MM can be for one day, or up to five days on a large-scale project. A hunger for getting the details right and delivering a wonderful experience for our clients is imperative for us.

Our POs and MMs work mainly on-site at client’s homes in New York City as well as occasionally further out into the tri-state area. They liaise with Urban Clarity’s back office, and our team in the field our clients to make our projects are executed well. They also are able to assemble IKEA, U-Line or Container Store storage racks, and other furniture as needed. Hanging small and medium sized items on the wall is also preferred.
